Roleplay example:
Saru crouched in the thicket, the bushes covering her so she wouldn't be seen. Her eyes were trained on the doe she had picked out before. The breeze blew in her face, carrying the scents from the forest.
The wind was starting to pick up and she would have to hurry, or there would be nothing to eat. Saru launched herself at the doe, she bit it on the leg and blood spurted onto her face as the doe kicked out. Shaking her head, she let go and the doe bolted off.
She caught up to it easily as it was limping from the wound she gave it. As she launched herself again, the doe kicked out with it's hind legs, narrowly missing hitting Saru on the shoulder. She fell to the ground dodging the blow.
Her feet flew across the ground as she loped after the doe again. This time as she launched herself at it, she grabbed it on the back of it's neck and bit down hard. A crunching noise filled the air as she cracked it's windpipe. Blood sprayed from the wound and Saru let go. Warm blood dripped down onto the forest floor from the doe's wounds...
